About this Session
With the growth of international student populations across universities in the UK, there is an increasing need for both university and Students' Unions teams to develop their understanding of international students to enhance their service provision and contribute to a positive sense of belonging. This session will explore the findings from Alterline's recent qualitative research project on international student belonging alongside how Greenwich Students' Union and The Union at Manchester Metropolitan University have engaged with and developed programmes to support international students at their institutions. There will also be opportunity to share successes and challenges from your SU.
